I’ve had pets my entire life. Once I realized I could make my love for animals into a career I jumped at that! In NY I became a veterinarian assistant and fell in love with that field of work! In my future I will be going to school to become a veterinary technician. I am also certified in cat and dog first aid and CPR.

Shelby was absolutely amazing!!! This was my first time using the Rover app. She walked me through the whole process and was so patient with me. She made us feel at ease while we were away for our son’s travel basketball tournaments. She was also super flexible as they ended up having a later game which made us needing to pick our Olivia up later. Our old pup is on medication daily and she did great with making sure she got her meds both in the morning and in the evening. The BEST part is, our old girl loves to cuddle with us and sleep on our bed. She felt right as home as Shelby allowed this. In fact the whole time our girl felt at home! We will be using her for our tournaments away from now on as she treated and loved on our girl just as we do. We can’t thank her enough!
Shelby was a great communicator from the moment I contacted her, took excellent care of my Boston Mavis and kept me up to date throughout the length of her stay. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. Thank you, Shelby Mavis & I appreciate you!

Shelby was absolutely amazing! She watched my dog for 30 days and it helped me immensely. I was able to focus on work and I never had to worry for a second how my dog was doing. She sent countless video and photo updates that were a pleasure to receive each day. Additionally, she used her experience as a vet tech to notify me that my dog was having some minor issues. She took my dog to the vet and the process was absolutely flawless. I have already passed her name to other friends to book with her in the future. I would not hesitate to use her again if I am ever in the area. The best sitter I have ever used and I was a little nervous given the length of stay. I also was able to get off work for an afternoon and take my dog for a hike and Shelby was instantly available last minute to coordinate a pick up.

I have one dachshund and a cat to keep your fur babies company. I have a small-medium sized crate if needed, and we’ll make sure to have plenty of play time!!! Unfortunately with me living on base I will not be able to accept pit bulls, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, and candid/wolf hybrid’s. I do hope to change this once we move off base!!!😁

A typical day
We will enjoy some training time with freeze dried beef liver while we’re on a walk or just sitting in the house. I also have tennis balls for them to chase and plenty of stuffed animals.
