Stay At Home Dog Mom
Pet care experience
Please Read Before Booking: * Please no dogs that bark excessively. * You’re pup should be comfortable with other dogs. I have a 1 year old lab mix and I take her to the park every morning, would love if your fur baby came with! * No dogs over 85 pounds unless very well leash trained. We can discuss this but I walk 2-4 miles per day and it’s difficult to do with bigger dogs that pull. Hi friends, I’m Shelby mom to a lab mix Dahlia. Dahlia and I walk to the dog park every morning. A lot of my life revolves around making sure my fur baby is well exercised, loved and cared for and you can expect the same for your fur baby when they stay with me. I’ve had pets my entire life cats, dogs, bunnies and more. I have a lot of experience with loving and caring for animals! If you choose me for your fur baby to stay with you can expect lots of snuggles, pets and exercise from me.
Reviews
Shelby took care of our pup over a long holiday weekend. She was outstanding- sent lots of updates (pictures/videos) and was flexible about pickup / drop off times! We highly recommend Shelby and will definitely be using her services again the next time we’re traveling.
Thank you for always taking such good care of Milo!!!
My dog's home away from home. I'm starting to think he has more fun with Shelby thank with me. No one is better than her.
What a great first experience. Shelby understood our senior dog and his few quirks. She sent photo updates or texts just let us know how things were going. We are very happy with our experience and would never hesitate to book her again.

I live in an apartment but the unit I am has a fenced in area off of the patio so I can let the pups roam free there. I also take Dahlia for 1-2 ~2 mile walks per day and the dog park every morning. My space is small which allows me to always have an eye on your baby while she/he is visiting!

• Feeding schedule • Any aggressive tendencies (ie with food, bones, at park, with dominance) • Any injuries or health concerns • How many bowel movements is typical and if on / off leash is required for them to feel comfortable going. • Anxiety when left alone. Some dogs get nervous in new environments and that’s totally fine. I just like to know ahead to plan accordingly. • Where they normally sleep.

I work from home most week days. I will at times work for a few hours during the week at a coffee shop to break things up. I also may serve one or two nights a week for ~4 hours or go to meet a friend for dinner for a few hours during the evenings but for the most part I am at home. If staying with me your dog would go for a walk with Dahlia and I in the morning and nap while I work. We go out a few times during the day for potty breaks and if I don’t have plans in the evening out for another walk. Dahlia eats at 9 am after the park and around 5 pm.
