Pet care experience
I have never lived without a pet! I love all animals (sometimes more than people). I have been dog sitting for 5 years, casually for friends and family. My dog Misty has special needs, and has helped me to be comfortable with other pets who might have special needs. I’ve lived in a home where I helped care for foster cats and dogs from bottle baby age to senior citizen age! I am currently working from home! I am able to take breaks throughout the day to visit and play with your pets. My schedule is open for 3 daily walks or home visits. I prefer not to walk dogs after the sun goes down or before the sun rises. I am available to care for 1 pet at a time in my home for a dog boarding service/daycare service. I have a fenced in yard to take care of your pet. We have 2 dogs with excellent temperaments to play with your dog. I can schedule walks/play time with our dogs so your pets can make friends.

Shelby is an incredible dog sitter. I have a large mixed hound that has a ton of energy, and Shelby knows exactly how to take care of him. She has watched Trigger multiple times, and I fully trust her. She is such a loving person that really cares about animals. She has two dogs, and I'm amazed at how patient she is with a fully house. I recommend Shelby for all your dog needs!

A typical day
I love to see dogs in action! We have a local dog park we walk to 2-3 times a week and we can play with other dogs. Of course, only if your dog enjoys playing with other dogs. I have 2 routes I like to take around my neighborhood, one is 1.5 miles, and the other is 3 miles. I like to gauge the route I take by how hot it is outside and the age/activity level of the dog. For example, my dog Misty struggles with 3 mile walks, however Titan loves long walks.
