I will offer your dog or puppy a comfy couch to sleep on,plenty of room to run and lots of love and attention while they are here with us. About this sitter: Hi,my name is Shelby. I have always loved animals! I was a breeder of Bulldogs and Shih Tzus for several years! I have two adult daughters and have run a home Daycare for 21 years. My home is comfy, convenient and has a nice large fenced in backyard.. I would love to care for your pet! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I was a little girl. My parents always had a dog and a cat or two growing up. My mom was also known for taking in strays.....cats, kittens, birds and once she even took in a wounded squirrel! I bred Olde English Bulldogges and English Bulldogs for about 13 years and then Shih Tzus. I am no longer breeding and am devoting my time to pet sitting. Meet my pets I am the happy owner of an 11 year old Shih Tzu and a 4 month old Bulldog About my yard I have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to run!

Shelby has had a few different dogs herself, she has been taking care of dogs for many years, she has been a breeder and has had to help with the birth and death of a few. She truly loves animals and is very good at what she does. There is no reason why anyone would not want her watching and taking care of animals, would recommend her in a heartbeat.

When I meet with a client for the first time I ask several questions so that proper care is provided for their pet. I like to keep clients updated daily by e-mail or text about how their pet is doing. Some questions I ask about pet sitting is if their pet has any special needs such as medications, if they have any fears, their pets daily routine and feeding times so that they stay on schedule. I also like to know where their pet sleeps and if they need a walk or just a run in the yard. I really have no particular breed preferences, but I do get quite excited when a bulldog needs to be watched!
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks This all depends on where you live and if your dog is staying at my home or yours! Your dog's sleeping arrangement This depends on what your dog is used to. I have crates if your dog is used to this otherwise they are free to sleep on the couch, chair, floor or dog beds I have. Time I'll spend with your dog That is really up to each client. My average stay is anywhere from 1/2 hour to an hour depending on what I need to do and if they need to be walked or just let out to run.

I currently run a home daycare so I’m always home. The dogs will have a separate area from all of the daycare kids. I’ve run this for 23 years and am slowly cutting back.
