Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have always been a pet sitter for family and friends working with a variety of ages, needs, and breeds of pets. My husband and I have a fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor fun for pets. None of our pets are aggressive and all are up to date on shots and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. I can bathe your pets as well if you need or want that service to be provided. I look forward to spoiling your pet(s)!

Shelby took fantastic care of our dog Bailey. She communicated clearly and promptly and helped Bailey to adapt well to her home while we were away. Shelby was flexible with the schedule and allowed us to extend Bailey’s stay on short notice. We appreciate the support we received from Shelby and wouldn't hesitate to leave Bailey with her in the future.
Shelby is so sweet and loves all animals more than anyone else I know! She has more love for animals than anything else and I would recommend her to anyone 100x if I could.

Miss Shelby is an absolute dog whisperer!! If it weren’t for Shelby, my husband and I would never be able to spend time together by ourselves. She’s an absolute sweetheart. My babies love her so very much. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies other than Shelby. Not only is she amazing with our babies. She’s such a great person. She had an amazing can do attitude. She’s also very helpful with anything we need. She spoils them for sure. I highly recommend Shelby!

I will make safety my top priority. I prefer not to keep any aggressive dogs as mine are very friendly and want to play which may make an aggressive animal uncomfortable. Rabies vaccine must be up to date as well as flea and tick prevention if possible to keep all pets safe and healthy.

Please let me know if your dog has any special health/dietary needs ahead of time. Also if your pet is aggressive please let me know how they are aggressive so I can base my decision on caring for your pet up front. I prefer not to handle aggressive dogs as this makes your pet unhappy as well as my own. I try to keep things as safe as possible for all pets in my care including my own.
A typical day
I love to throw the ball for pups to play fetch as well as keep a full basket of toys at all times for our dogs as well as any dogs we host to play with.

Availability
I currently work as a 3rd grade teacher at a private school. During June/July/August I will be home full time since school is not in session and will be able to care for your pets!
