Pet care experience
Hello, I grew up with pretty big dogs (german shep & belgian malinois) but I also worked in a pet store (Pet Valu) for two years in Toronto, where I gained quite a bit of knowledge about pet care & food. Working here, we also hosted dog & cat adoption days with local rescues! I was a dog walker for the Toronto Humane Society for a couple of years during my undergrad. I have my own cat right now. However, I sincerely miss having a dog around as they are truly one of the best companions. I would love to help out with your dog! I am a grad student right now so my schedule is divided between working on my research and having a lot of extra spare time.

Shelby has been an incredible find, thanks to Rover! She has had two walks so far with my beloved Pitbull, and I get sweet photos of the two of them exploring the local parks. I completely trust Shelby letting herself into my home, and each time I've come home to a happy dog!
My daughter Shelby has loved animals her entire life. We always had pets when Shelby was a child and they would always tend to gravitate towards her over the other kids. While she was in elementary school, instead of staying for lunch and being with her classmates, Shelby would come home to let the dogs out to do their business and just to visit with them for awhile. Her love of animals continued throughout high school when she volunteered at the Toronto Humane Society as a dog walker and helped with the animals. Shelby continues to have her own pets to this day and is extremely loyal and loving to hers and to all animals.
I worked with Shelby for a few years in the pet service industry as her manager. She has a great love for dogs and cats and a vast storehouse of knowledge regarding nutrition and behaviour. She is very trustworthy and reliable. I would absolutely entrust my own pets to her. Jennifer L.
