Pet care experience
I’ve been loved on and been around various types of dogs, cats, goats, and even chickens for basically my whole life!! The last 17 years I would say is when I was more responsible in their care, and took the time to make sure they were always fed properly, had water at all times, and got all the love and attention I could offer. I love connecting with animals, and personally I think that I do with any animal I meet. I love big breeds, but small are just as great.I've been asked several times by family friends to care for their animals on extended vacations, as well as taking care of my own families animals. I'm doing this because I miss my girls at my moms, and just want to feel closer to animals again until I can get my own.

Shelby is always on time, follows instructions and is very loving. I have two medium kelpie dogs who have A TON of energy. I don’t know how she does it but they are exhausted after they go on walks and to the park with Shelby. Top ROVER for sure!
Shelby has been the most loving, loyal, and caring sitter for our sweet dachshund Noodle! To say our doggo is needy would be a vast understatement, but he loves time with Shelby as she is always so willing to take the time to walk him, play, and show him all the love he needs in our absence. Anyone would be SO lucky to be able to leave their pet in her dependable care. 15/10 recommend her for all your pet caregiving needs!

I make sure that they have lots of stimulating play time, as well as snuggles and tons of places to lay their head. We have a dog park at our Condo, and have tons of space inside, especially for bigger breeds :) I live with my husband Kevin, who does help but works outside of the home!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, is dog/cat aggressive (which is totally fine, I get it), has any allergies, or special diet. This will just help me prepare the time we have together! :)
A typical day
I would make sure to ask the owner what kind of dog they are! Are they active, swimmers, sleepers? Then I would base activities around what the dog likes best. Personally I love to walk, hike, swim, and be outside as much as possible. But I also love a good lazy day, movie night cuddling with an animal. I love to make sure the animal gets comfortable in our home first, as well with me so that we can have a good time during the visit! Good potty breaks and time to play are important to me as well as exercise!

Availability
It fits perfectly. I work remote and so I am more than able to care and love for any animal at all times! Whether they were at my house, and if I had to drop in I would be adamant in making sure they receive just as much attention as if I was there.
