My name is Shelby. I am a 25 year old female currently residing in West Hartford, CT with my boyfriend in an apartment. I have had a soft spot for animals all my life. I enjoy going on hikes, going to parks, swimming, running, and just being outdoors in general. Having a puppy friend to do activities with makes the time spent so much better. I grew up with a silky terrier named Riley and a Maine coon cat named Alice. The dogs and cats in my profile pictures are all animals that are either mine, my friends, or my parents of whom I've taken care of over the years while they are away. I have years of experience and hope to hear from you soon!

I do not have any breed preferences. I typically like to know how high energy your dog is. I have experience with senior dogs to puppies and 1 year old very high energy dogs. Knowing what type of activities they like to do and how much activity you prefer them to have outside (exercise, playing, etc). I would like to know any rules or restrictions your pet may have such as sitting on furniture/beds. I also like to know any emergency contacts for safety reasons when you may not be available.
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks and runs through the West Hartford Reservoir. I typically take dogs to local parks to run around, play fetch, maybe go to a dog park if there is one near by.
