Pet care experience
Live in an apartment, work all day, have mobility issues, etc...? Fear not, I'm here to provide all your walking needs! I've cared for dogs for 5+ years and have been doing dog walking professionally since 2018. My areas of expertise are with small and medium dogs, but size doesn't matter when it comes to making sure your dog has my full undivided attention and providing them with the best possible experience. I'm great at matching energy levels with your dog and figuring out what methods of play work best for them. My ultimate goal is to form a positive bond with your dog and provide whatever services you desire to the best of my ability. That's a promise!

Shelby was AMAZING with our Gracie girl! Our dog had separation anxiety and she made Gracie feel so safe and happy while we were away. When we got home she greeted us excitedly and then went right back over to Shelby! Gracie even felt comfortable enough to eat her dinner while we were gone and Shelby was at our house, often times she will not eat at all. That really goes to show how great Shelby is! We will for sure be contacting her in the future!
Shelby has been walking our dog who has some reactivity issues and it has been great! She is super responsive to messages and sends very cute photos. The dog seems very comfortable with her.
Shelby was an excellent choice to have watch our pups while we were gone! She was responsive, punctual and put us at ease leaving our pups for the weekend. Everything was just as we left it and loved getting daily updates. Thanks so much!!
We had never used Rover before and were a little nervous to try it out, but Shelby helped to ease our worries. Shelby is quick to respond, communicative and our pup fell in love with her right away. She took great care of our place and our dog for the weekend. Shelby shared lots of sweet photos and sent daily updates about how he was doing, their walks, how he was eating (he can be a little picky), etc. Shelby is lovely and we will definitely book her next time we go out of town. Highly recommended for your house/pet sitting and dog walking needs!

I prefer to know of any medical or behavioral issues in advance. During our meet and greet I like to establish what their usual routine is what their favorite activities are. I don't have any breed preferences and will gladly spend time loving on your furry friend.
A typical day
I love to spend as much time in nature as possible, that's why I will try and go on walks on nature trails, through parks, etc... Anywhere that gets them out of the concrete jungle. Dogs can expect to play lots of games with me like fetch or tug of war, but they can also expect to have some fun bonding time. This can include belly rubs, ear scratches, and even a good brush down for those dogs that never seem to be done shedding.
