I've loved and cared for pets my whole life and have really enjoyed my years as a Rover sitter. After growing up with dogs, I became the go-to dog-sitter in my neighborhood in Atlanta. I'm honest and responsible and take your pet's care very seriously. I've had experience with puppies and senior dogs and every breed you can imagine. Your pet deserves the attention, affection, and exercise that promotes a high quality of life. I use rover for my own pets and always select Rover sitters that give my furbabies the best possible care. I use positive reinforcement and will always adhere to any training approaches you're using in the home and on walks.

I’ve owned cats for 20+ years and have been using petsitters for about 15. Shelby is the best yet. My cat loves him. She wasn’t at all anxious when we got back—no changed behaviors (which usually happens, even to a small degree) after an 18-day trip! Shelby sent videos whenever he came and she seemed so happy and at peace. He kept our place tidy and abided by our many requests. I wholeheartedly recommend Shelby to anyone who needs a petsitter!
Shelby was great. We felt very comfortable letting him watch our house and pets. They were very happy when we got home, clearly very well taken care of. We regularly received pictures and updates from Shelby. He also never hesitated to ask questions about their care. He definitely loves animals and will take care of your pets like they are his own.
Shelby rolled with our crazy schedule and a dog with a very sick tummy. Super responsive and flexible and detail oriented.

Before sitting your dog, I'd like to know if they are friendly with other dogs and with children. I always want to make sure your pup stays comfortable and keeps everyone around them safe. I also always ask if you're using any training approaches so your dog can continue to be trained well while you're out of town.
A typical day
What we do depends on what your dog likes! If they like slow walks, I'm happy to give "dog-centric" walks where they can explore and sniff anything and everything, or take high-energy dogs on runs. If they like fetch, we'll do that. Belly rubs? Sure thing. Tell me about your dog's personality and what they like best and we'll do that!
