Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my entire life, with 3 of them still on my dad's 350 acre property in Northern Arizona. Being a flight attendant, I haven't had the ability in recent years to take on the responsibility of being a dog-mom, so I've found other ways to get my "dog therapy" in (besides obsessing over the ones that come on the plane). I've done volunteer work for the Arizona Animal Welfare League in Phoenix and pet sitting here and there for friends, and really anything that allows me to be near pets! I have a lot of down time while I'm not flying the friendly skies, and I would love nothing more than to give all my attention to your furry loved one while you are away!

You will indeed notice her wonderful personality once you meet her, and your pet will be in the care one one smart, energetic, loving and responsible human being. Trust me on this...she is the one who will take great care of your pet just as you would want one to.

I would like to know how a dogs leash manners are, if they're leash trained, and how they react to small children and other dogs while in public. I would also like to know if there is anything that makes the dog uncomfortable, and on the flip side, if there's anything that helps put them at ease in stressful situations. Also would like to know their feeding habits (what time they eat, how much, are they particular about where they eat?) and what rules the owner follows such as their dog being allowed on furniture/in the bedroom/on the bed. I want to make sure I am not overstepping any boundaries they have worked hard to set in place!
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks on the canal right behind our condo, and if they're up for a coffee date then so am I! If owners are okay with it, I also love to hit up the dog park to socialize and wear them out with a few rounds of fetch. A nice trail hike on a beautiful Arizona day could be in order too!
