Pet care experience
I strive to make you feel safe and comfortable leaving your dogs at home when you’re away! I offer house sitting and walk-in visit options, so I am more than happy to stay overnight if that is what your fur-baby would prefer! I know that kenneling them can just make them more anxious when you’re away, so I love giving you the option to help them feel more comfortable by allowing them to stay in familiar surroundings! This is a side job for me also, so I am able to offer lower prices because I have income elsewhere. On the other end, walk-in visits are a great solution if you are working long hours and just need to make sure your baby gets fed and loved while you’re working to pay for that food! Get in touch and we can set something up!
Reviews
Shelby was very understanding towards my dog’s stubbornness and responded promptly when contacted. My dog is a little difficult to work with, however, she handled him like a champ. Would highly recommend her.
Shelby is such a sweetheart! She's so dependable and Bruce loved her! Sometimes Bruce has trouble with trusting and walking with new people, so Shelby took her time for Bruce to warm up to her and now he loves going on walks with her! She's fantastic!
Shelby is awesome! Super responsible, responsive and my dogs loved her instantly! I recommend her highly to take great care of your doggie kids.
Amazing friend to my border collie Anakin.

Safety, trust & environment
I only service in my clients' homes. It is a firm belief of mine that dogs will do better in an environment they are familiar with, especially in a stressful situation (which missing their pack definitely is!). I also live with family, a cat, and my own dog, which can make everything more stressful and put us in a situation where one of the pups may not interact well with the other.
Information Shelby G. would like to know about your pet
Before I watch your dog, I would like to know the quirks that you think are the most important for me and the basics about them. Big or small? How many times a day do they have to eat?Do they jump on you when you walk through the door? Are they timid to new people? Do they bark a lot or are they quiet? Are they allowed on the furniture? Do they need me to stand outside with them while they go to the bathroom? Just the things that you think are the most important about your dog so that I can treat them with the same love and care that they are used to!
A typical day
I will love on your dog as much as they want, respecting the rules you have set forth of course. I will love on your dog whenever I am not working and will take them on walks on whatever route you usually take to keep routines. I will feed on your usual schedule and if you would like, I will stay at your residence overnight to stay with the dog. My goal is to keep them in the routine they are accustomed to so that the transition is as smooth as possible!

Availability
As a house sitter, I do have a 9-5 office job on weekdays, so unless your house is within 5 miles I will have to leave them alone during my workday. I am working on moving to a more flexible remote employment situation, so this should change soon. On weekends, I will work my schedule around being there for your babies!
