I am currently a zookeeper of over 8 years and have owned cats and dogs for my entire life. I have experience with caring for many different animals over the years ( pigs, goats, horses, kangaroos, cats, dogs, lizards, snakes, insects, crocodilians - you name it ). I also have cared for special needs dogs. My boys. One of which had epilepsy needing meds on a timed schedule daily. The other of which suffered an FCE - leaving him paralyzed in the rear limbs and incontinent for around 2 months (who is now at about 90% recovery!) When I was too young to work - I volunteered at shelters ( off and on from 12-16 ). While there, I socialized cats, exercised dogs, fed, watered, as well as cleaning their homes.
