Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Shelby, and I’m your average animal loving, stop-you-on-the-street-to-ask-if-I-can-pet-your-dog kind of person. I have a 5 year old son, a 1 year old, giant, lap baby Great Dane (Chief), and a 1 year old spunky kitten who’s basically not afraid of anything (Bean). I’m a stay at home mom with a fiancée who travels for a living, so I am always excited to have more fur babies around to make the house feel lively. I have around 2+ years of dog training experience as well, so I could even help your pup learn a thing or two, if needed! Due to my sweet, yet giant pup at home, I am currently only taking boarding and day care requests for dogs 20lbs or more. I am happy to do drop-in visits and walks with all sizes and breeds, however! I’ve been taking care of pets (my own and other people’s) for over 9 years, and I’m ready and willing to give some extra love to yours as well!

Shelby did a great job with our puppy paper. She sent us pictures each day we traveled along with a nice text to let us know how she was doing. We will definitely use Shelby in the future
Shelby was wonderful with our two fur babies! She was flexible with our last minute booking and so easy to work with. When she visited, our dogs were instantly drawn to her and she was incredible with them allowing us to feel very safe with them in her hands!

Just because a certain type of play or set of boundaries works for one dog, does not mean it works for all dogs. Let me know what makes your dog unique! Energy levels of the dogs must be moderate to low due to my 5 year old son. Please NO high energy breeds (such as herding or working breeds).
A typical day
I am lucky enough to live within a few miles of a multitude of dog-friendly trails (including trails within my own housing community)! These trails are where most walks will take place. I also have a completely fenced backyard with a small open space behind it, so we can spend time outside playing fetch, tug, and other activities that will keep your pup stimulated.
