Shelby D. cancelled a booking after the stay began.

Shelby is absolutely phenomenal!! Not was she able to help me out the same day I found her, but this was my first time EVER leaving my 3 year old doberman in anyone else’s care other than a family member! She’s never been left alone before or without one of her human “pack members” in the home. So this was major for me to let someone else care for her for the first time ever! Not only was it her first time being without us, but we are from out of town and only stopping through in Bentonville for mountian biking a few days, so this is a strange home for her, different state, different person - everything new. Shelby made me as well as River my dobie, so at ease, and she was super flexible to meet us at the local park and biking trailhead so as we headed out to do some biking, she took River for a nice relaxing walk and resting by the shaded creek side. We ALL had an amazing day because of Shelby…. My 12 year got to finally ride Bentonville, my dog got some exercise and rest and comfort of a companion the entire time…. And we were able to all sleep well as we didn’t come back to a energetic dobie, but a super relaxed, calm and exhausted girl which was wonderful!! The best part was when Shelby turned to leave - River actually tried to follow her! A good sign that she really likes and trusts her as River is exceptionally clingy to my son & I. She was much happier and better cared for then any time I’ve left her with just my husband. Thank you SO Shelby! This trip wouldn’t have been possible without you! And anyone who knows me, knows I’m absolutely insane about who cares for River (I’m more picky about who watches my dog than my child! Which is why I’ve never left her before). I wish I could move Shelby back to Colorado with us!!
