Pet care experience
My pet care experience began as a foster home where 10+ dogs were able to find their furever home (including my own foster fail). While working in a grooming salon I started boarding for more than 25 clients where most of them stayed with me a few times a year, who I loved like my own! I have experience with puppies aged 10 weeks to seniors with health and mobility issues and everything inbetween.

Since the moment I met Shelby, she has had a pet by her side. She has fostered several dogs and they have always been the sweetest dogs with her. I admire her strength to love those dogs like her very own, and be able to let them go to their forever homes. I cannot recommend Shelby enough for this opportunity. She was my "key buddy" at our apartment for over 14 years where she looked after my dog Menudo from time to time. Menudo and her dog Seth were best friends. I’m located in the countryside with an acre of land. Currently I have a smaller dog run for off leash outdoor time until the fence can be put in. Unless your pet is secured in the fenced area I will have them leashed for safe walks around the property. Inside my home there is plently of open space for your pet to exercise or decompress/relax. I will provide daily updates as I understand how difficult it can be leaving your pet and trusting that they’re in good hands. In addition to mandatory vaccines I require your pet to be on flea & tick prevention! Their safety and comfort is my priority. I have crates for small, medium and large dogs if needed.

This includes their social skills and ability to be in an environment with other pets and any reactivity or resource guarding. Every animal has their boundaries and I want to make sure they are respected and respectful!
A typical day
Does your dog love to spend hours playing fetch? No problem! Do they prefer mental stimulation with a fun treat puzzle? Let’s do that! Are they more of a Netflix and chill type? Me too! Do they love to be outdoors? Let’s get our boots on!

I work from home so I will be with your beloved family member at all times. They will receive plenty of outdoor time and exercise, a cozy bed to nap in and all the love and affection they would at home.
