Pet care experience
I have experience caring for a wide range of dogs. In my hometown, I dog-sat for all our neighbors and friends. Poodles, doodles, shepherds, chihuahuas - you name it and I’ll have walked one!! I worked at PetSmart my senior year of high school and learned so much about proper pet nutrition, most suitable toys, and training techniques. Plus, I’ve been pet sitting and walking with Rover for over a year now!

Shelby is great!
Shelby did great with our two small dogs over the weekend. One of our dogs is reactive to other dogs. She did great with him, and was able to follow our somewhat complicated instructions on dealing with his reactivity. We got lots of great updates and pictures while we were gone. We would definitely book her again!
Olive and I highly recommend Shelby! She is very reliable, and I can trust that my dog and home will be in good hands while I am away. She takes Olive on long walks and gives her plenty of love and attention.

I will care for your pets the same way you do by following the structure that your pack has created, keeping a watchful eye on your pet, and showing them the affection they deserve! On walks, I will ensure your pet's safety by keeping my eyes on them and the world around us. If I'm in your home to pet sit for the day, you can rest assured your pet is receiving lots of belly rubs and being distracted from causing any mischief. I never bring foreign treat or toys into the home or along for walks. In the event of an emergency, I have a vehicle and the route to Emerald City Emergency Animal Clinic memorized. I am fully vaccinated (booster too) against COVID-19 so the rest of your family is protected in my company too.

A typical day
I stick to walking dogs around their own neighborhoods to make sure they are comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I’d love to play tug of war, fetch, or set up brainteasers for your pet to help them get the exercise and mental stimulation they need!

I am a law student at UW, which means I’d love to have your pet as my study buddy, or study break! A walk or some play time would be good for both of us!
