Animals are my passion
Pet care experience
Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my page, I’d love to see if we are a good fit for one another! To give you a little insight into my animals experience, I studied at Bel Rea veterinary technician school, volunteered at Foothills Animal shelter, worked for Freedom Service Dogs for 4 years, and am now working at a Neurology Speciality Veterinary clinic. I have had dogs since the day I was born, and have loved them ever since. If your dog needs some extra exercise during your busy schedule, I am available to walk, run, or hike your dog. If you have a dog or cat who requires medications or some extra TLC during the day, I have experience in patient care that allows me to understand medication administration and handling of animals that are ill, or recovering from a surgery. If you have an older dog who just needs some sunshine and potty breaks throughout the day while you are away, I am happy to take him/her outside with some additional belly rubs and love.
Reviews
Since I've known Shelby, she has always been an avid animal lover -particularly of dogs! She gladly and attentively cares for her family and friend's dogs when given the chance. From her experience volunteering in a vet clinic with large and small dogs, she can recognize an emergency along with giving good belly rubs. She can puppy sit for my dog any day!

Safety, trust & environment
At my house, animals are treated like members of the family. If they’d like to sleep on the couch or in the bed, they are more than welcome to. If they’d like to be outside enjoying the sunshine, we have a little fence patio for them to do so. If they want to go for a walk, I dress for whatever weather is happening outside, and we go either around the neighborhood, or to the fort trails just down the street. In addition to physical activities, I believe in lots of snuggles, pets, treats (within reason), and lots of saying, “who’s a good boy?” and “who’s a good girl”

Information Shelby C. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know of any medical concerns, restrictions your dog has, what you'd like their routine to look like, and what is expected of me to provide the best care for your dog.
A typical day
I believe in both stimulating dogs with both physical and mental activities. The bucket of toys in my house is overflowing, walks/runs and hikes are encouraged and the dog park is our weekend getaway.
