I’m Shelby and I really can't pick one thing I love most about dogs! Snuggling and play time are definitely two of my favorite doggie activities, but most of all, I love having a genuine connection with a dog. Every pup has their own unique personality and it’s so special getting to know what they love, dislike, and how they play and interact. Knowing they trust me feels great. If I can make them not even notice their parents is gone, I'm happy! I always love the feeling of getting to make a pup’s life a bit more happy, and getting to work with dogs has been a great experience. I have tremendous knowledge beyond just owning a dog. I grew up with dogs and bred bulldogs for over 10 years. I also have a sweet pup of my own, Ruckus, who is a nine month old English Bulldog. I currently work with a local no kill animal shelter fostering cats and dogs when needed. I have also owned and cared for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities so I feel comfortable handling all dogs - even those with disabilities or ones that require medication. Because of that, I don't have any policies, since every pup would be handled case by case. I’ll make sure to design every stay around their needs and wants! I also like to make sure that my human clients feel completely taken care of as well. I’ll always send lots of updates to you so you can feel at ease that you baby is in good hands and always ask about your individual needs or wants. I’m a stickler for following schedules, so I’m always happy to accommodate your pup’s specific schedule and what you have in mind.
