Pet care experience
I have owned pets for as long as I can remember. I also aspire to become a veterinarian. I am currently working at the emergency animal Hosp in pensacola. I have worked at doggy daycares and shadowed in general veterinary practices. I have also grown up riding horses. I have experience with exotics because I worked as the vet tech at the Gulf Breeze Zoo.

Shelby did a great job watching our pup! She was reliable and sent pictures. We felt comfortable being gone knowing our pup was in good hands and being loved.
When our normal pet sitter was not available we contacted Shelby on short-notice and we are so glad we did! Our cat is diabetic and requires special attention and insulin injections on a daily basis. Shelby expertly administered the required medications and put us at ease with the level of care she was able to provide. I would highly recommend Shelby to anyone else looking for pet care and look forward to utilizing her services again in the future. Thanks again!
Shelby would be the ideal person for a pet sitter, dog walker, goat groomer, chicken chaser...whatever the duty might require. She has been a Vet tech for over 3 years now at a local Emergency Vet Clinic; as well as has experience at our local zoo with exotics. Her household consists of 3 large dogs, 2 being rescues and 2 rescue cats. It has been her lifelong dream to attend Vet school and hopefully this will be the year for that. She enjoys taking her personal pet Venus on walks, rides on the john boat, car rides and out in the community during outings. Venus is also a blood donor for emergency surgeries. I recommend her without any reservations.

Currently, I live with my parents and my sister, so there is always someone here at the house with the dogs. My dog Venus always has my sister's two dogs Nova and Kilo to keep her company. They enjoy running around in my backyard and playing in our creek. Usually, when I take care of friends' dogs or other clients' dogs, I ask for the owner to leave a small note on the daily chores needed for the pet and/or any extra fun facts needed to know. I try to stay as close to the pet's normal routine as possible.

A typical day
I’m willing to do any activity or play any game with your pet. Whatever they enjoy I’m sure I will also enjoy! My dog really enjoys to play fetch at the dog park.

Availability
Working at the emergency clinic requires me to work three twelve-hour shifts. This allows me to be free for the remainder of the week. So I figured why not hang out with more dogs? I also would like to get out and start walking more myself.
