Pet care experience
I’m a Legal Secretary, Monday through Friday but a full time animal lover 24/7! I have 2 80 pound dogs, both rescues, 3 cats & 10 chickens. I also have experience with rabbits & hamsters. I worked at an animal hospital for 2 years. During that time, I acquired the skills of animal interaction with different breeds as well as technical skills. I have administered medications (oral & topical), administered vaccines, grooming including ear cleaning & much more. I successfully completed 2 semesters of a veterinary technician program from an accredited college. I would love to do a meet & greet before we agree to the sitting. I will not take on more than I can handle to make sure every pet gets the attention they deserve. I look forward to meeting you & your pet!

Extremely satisfied with Shelby's care. Very polite and professional. My cats are so skittish but they warmed right up to her after the 2nd day. Which to me, was a good indication as to what kind of care she gives. Will definitely be having Shelby cat sit again in the future.

Not only does Shelby have over two years of experience working at Banfield Animal Hospital, she herself owns/has owned puppies/dogs, kittens/cats, fish and rabbits. A goat will soon be added to her family. She loves animals. Shelby is honest and trustworthy. She will give your "best friend" the care and compassion that they deserve.
