Pet care experience
Hi there!! My name is Shelby and I am a responsible, kind and caring pet and house sitter with 6 years of experience. Don't be alarmed that my last reviews are from 2017-- I had a different account when I lived in Chicago, and just reactivated my LA account :) While you're away, I'll make sure your pets have all the attention they need as I work from home! I am a big believer in leaving a place nicer than I found it and very quick to answer check in texts and provide updates if you would like. Right now I live in Glassel park, but can come to you if you're a distance away. Take care :)

Shelby took such great care of my kitties! I was really hesitant as I usually only let family watch them but Shelby sent great pictures and updates and really set my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend and book again!
Shelby was amazing! It was great to have peace of mind that our cats (and lizard) were in good hands while we were out of town. I sometimes panic that the worst will happen when I'm away, but Shelby's texts put me at ease. Thank you, neighbor!!!

I always follow the owner's house guidelines and rules, and I am a very neat and tidy person. I love to make sure that people feel like their home is safe and cared for. Will bring the mail in and keep the Brita full ;)

To me, it's helpful to know the feeding schedule, any medications, and exercise needs. Besides that, please let me know if you pup or cat is anxious and I'll make sure to keep sudden movements/ low level music to a minimum to ease their anxiety. Please know that I am available by text/ call and will happily send updates if you would like!
A typical day
I hope to make the time you are away go quickly, and love to form a relationship with your pup or cat so that they aren't mopey and lonely. Walks are very important to bonding, and I make sure to follow the regime set in place by the owner. :)

As I work from home, walks, meals and cuddles are really easy to fit into my schedule. I need work buddies so it's much a treat for me as it is for them :)
