Hello! My name is Shelby and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have been working full time as a technician in hospital for six years. For three years prior, I studied in the Veterinary Assistant program and the Veterinary Technician program, graduating with honours from both. I am well experienced in administering medication (oral, injectable, etc) and caring for animals with special needs. I look forward to dog walking and cat sitting, I love every animal as if they were my own. I currently have two lovely kitties and a handsome thirteen year old cocker spaniel mix. All my animals are very friendly and social (and adorable, of course). You can trust me to provide your pet with all the love and attention they need. Upon request, I can offer nail trimming.

Shelby was a great sitter. My cat was not accustomed to having anyone but me around and it was the first time leaving her so I was worried how she would cope. But she warmed to Shelby almost immediately. The updates were consistent and thorough, you can tell she genuinely cares about your pet. Definitely hope to be able to book her again if I have to go away. Really eased a lot of my stress.
Shelby was amazing! She provided daily updates on the cats down to the pees and poos (which is important as my cat has issues!). She took photos and sent videos, she took excellent care of the babies while we were gone. I cannot recommend enough!

It is important to me that all pets feel comfortable in my care. Walks are important for exercise, but also important for sniffing and exploring. I like to make sure that your dog gets what they need out of a walk- whether they like to take time and sniff the flowers or speed up!

My shifts vary at the animal hospital, I typically work between 8-4 or 11-7. I am flexible around those hours and can work with your schedule.
