Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs all breeds and sizes since I was about 10 years old. I started a dog walking and sitting business when I was 10 and took care of my neighbors elderly dogs, which included walks, feedings, administering oral medications and insulin shots, and play time. I then at 15 started working at a doggy daycare where I got great experience with dogs of all ages and all sizes. The youngest dog I have taken care of is 14 weeks. I continued to work here through college and once I graduated I got a dog of my own! I adopted her from the shelter so I now have lots of experience with animals who have a history of abuse, timid, and shy. I try to create a loving and nurturing environment for her but also set boundaries so she still has manners! I also have 2 cats of my own so I am able to care for cats as well and have previously cat sat for lots of friends and family members over the years.

Shelby is the absolute best! She followed my instructions exactly when she was sitting for my cats and even spent extra time with them. She sent me pictures when I asked so I could see they were doing ok. My cats have stomach issues so they are fed different foods and have to be kept in different rooms as well. They are usually sick by the time we get home from trips but they were totally fine after every time Shelby watched them. I would trust her to take care of my animals completely.
Shelby has been so helpful taking care of my pup! She is always on time and sends great photos and updates when I am out of town! Would recommend to anyone with a fur baby :)

My pup is crate trained so I am able to easily put your dogs in crates if that is what you wish. I also can confidently take your dog on a walk, play with them in the backyard, or just snuggle with them if they just need some extra love and attention.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks specifically to local parks or even just around their neighborhood. With owner okay I also enjoy to work the dogs mind by working with treats and having them find the treat or even just practice sit. Some dogs are lazier like mine and I love to just sit in the backyard and read with her while she sunbathes.

I am a pediatric nurse and work 3 days a week so on my off days I love to get out and enjoy time with my dog and hopefully yours too!
