You will find a clean, NON- SMOKING, drug-free, welcoming home with two homeschooled kids, and two adults, who will give your sweetie extra love and attention. Our woods and property, where the animals are given ample outdoor space and playtime, is fenced in with secure gates and overlooking security cameras of the entire property. If you are looking for a kennel setting, this is not the ideal choice for you. We have a large warming garage for dog feet and wet coats to dry after outdoor play and for dog feedings. Our house is welcoming to all of the animals and you might catch an animal or two cozying up with everyone on the couch or in front of the stove in the winter. We vow to care for your dog as if they were our own. We make dog cookies as frequently as we make human cookies and every dog that stays with us will go home with an extra treat bag. We will happily provide you with photo / video updates of your sweetie during their stay with us because we know you are missing them. Feel free to bring your own dog bed, toys and preferred foods for their stay. We ensure that all dog bedding will come home laundered and clean. We ask that all dogs arrive with their preferred leash and collar they are accustomed to. Do let us know if your dog has any physical limitations, quirks, naughty habits, special hand signals or other training words they are accustomed to. Please keep in mind that Rover retains 20% of all bookings, before you judge our nightly price.

I truly believe that i could not have a better place for our dog. Shelbi Lynne took our dog into her home and treated her like a family pet. She sent updates and pictures about 2 times per day - reassuring me that I made a good decision using rover.com and choosing Shelbi Lynne. We used a kennel to board our dog before and I worried the whole time we were gone. There were no worries while our dog stayed with Shelbi Lynne! I hope that she will be available every time I need a place for our dog to stay.
Could not say enough great things about Shelbi. :) She is wonderful, accommodating and took great care of my pup. She absolutely goes above and beyond! I highly recommend her!!

Let us know what their potty and hunger signs are, as not all dogs offer the same signals and what is normal for them at their home so we can ensure similarities in schedule across the board for your pet. If they have favorite activities, or important specifics we need to know about so their time is as enjoyable as possible, that would be ideal!
A typical day
We offer multiple dog walks, visits to the park, hiking, and a myriad of play activities within our fenced-in yard. Lots of time, attention, snuggles and care with the whole family.

Availability
We homeschool full time and are almost always at home. If we are away from the home for a brief duration of time, we can ensure your dog will be safe and secure during our short trek to the library or grocer. If you approve and your dog is experienced in riding in the vehicle, we will likely bring them unless it’s unnecessarily hot or cold. Our morning begins with caring for all of the animals, then breakfast is served for all as we get into our school day. We take many brain breaks throughout the day and take advantage of this time to go on walks, trek out in the woods and play fetch. Dogs are able to go in and out any time they desire to. They are also offered the option every 1-2 hours if they are unable to self-regulate. Imagine your dog curled up on the couch with one kiddo as they complete their reading for the day, and another kiddo playing with your dog outside while they take a recess break. We take 1-2 more formal, longer walks or hiking adventures throughout the day. Our evening meal Is served and all dogs who eat two servings of food throughout the day, will get their second meal at this time. More Snuggling and cuddles occur after dinner, with a short nightcap outside before everyone goes to bed for the evening. Treat offerings are as frequent as you prefer. We are happy to bathe and dry your dog prior to pick up for a small additional fee as well.
