I am an Air Force veteran and own a dog training business called Sit Happens, I employ one daycare attendant who loved animals as much as I do. I’m a mom to a 5 year old daughter. I have loved animals all my life; I have a special fondness for dogs, especially working breed dogs due to my time spent stationed in Korea working with the military K-9s. I have an excellent understanding of dog-body language, but can get along with and care for any animal, big or small. I love taking pictures, so you’ll get a lot of photo updates during your pet’s stay. I have a fenced in yard and my daughter knows how to safely and gently interact with animals. I know that trusting your pet with someone is stressful, and finding the right fit is very important, so I’m always available for a meet and greet before their stay. You and your furry friend will be very happy with me!

Since I’m a dog trainer, this gives me a unique insight into dog body language that some other boarders may not have. My two personal dogs are well trained and love to show the new guys the ropes. I have a billion dog toys and treats, my backyard is a mini dog park with obstacles to climb and jump on.

I offer doggy daycare so there is a lot of fun activity here! We also visit local dog parks or dog friendly stores and rotate which dogs get to go certain days.

Availability
It’s all dogs, all day every day here. I own my own business and am a dog trainer who offers board and train services as well as private sessions. My entire basement is set up for boarding with 4x4 kennels, as well as various sizes and types of normal crates as well depending on what works best for the dog.
