Pet care experience
I am a retired veterinary technician with over 50 years of pet care experience, I will take excellent care of your small and large pets. I also will care for large animals including but not limited to: horses, mules, goats, cattle, sheep... I was born and raised on a farm in Nebraska where we raised, cattle, hogs, sheep and registered quarter horses. I also have raised boer goats since living in Oklahoma. We always had at least one dog and many cats. I can provide excellent references verifying my skills as a pet care provider. I am home full time and have flexible availability. My preference is to care for your fur babies in your home. I will travel back and forth to your home so your pets will be comfortable during your absence. I feel pets prefer their own home and familiar surroundings especially when their family is away. If I care for your pet in my home they will need to be crate trained, so that when I run errands I can insure their safety. (I crate my own fur baby when I am away). I share my home with my husband of 34 years, he is pet friendly.

Sheila did a wonderful job. One of my dogs has pancreatitis and I was worried about leaving him. He would need medication at the first sign of a flareup. After meeting Sheila all my worries were put to rest. All her years experience as a vet tech and animal lover I knew he was in good hands. I will definitely use her again.
Sheila is dedicated to the proper welfare of animals. When I travel Sheila takes care of my 2 horses and 2 cats. She ensures that food is provided in the correct amounts for each horse ( I have a very old one). Water is checked daily and the cats always get loved on. In the past she took care of my very special dog including feeding, walking and getting loved on. She is very dependable and trust worthy.
Sheila is a wonderful person who will take care of your pets as though they were her own. The only fault that she may have is spoiling them a little too much. Her education as a registered veterinary technician and her experience in the veterinary field also helps her to recognize distress and illness, so that it can be addressed quickly, before it becomes a significant issue. I have trusted her with my own dogs and feel comfortable recommending her to care for other's dogs and cats.
Shelia Y was so great with our two dogs, we just don't let anyone watch and come into our home. I asked her to come by 3 times a day, but being Shelia she came by 4 times to make sure that they were fine, and everyday she texted me.. we usually boarded our dogs, when we would go on vacation but our doberman with always come back sick. This time they were happy and looked great. Thank you so much Shelia, u did a great job! The boys says hi.
