Pet care experience
Since retirement I have looked after friend’s dogs Lady the Labrador and Cora the Doberman,boarding and walking them in the woods or along the canal both in close proximity to my house. Over the years I have also had two family dogs as pets a Patterdale terrier (Cinders) and (Rowan) a Lurcher both had long and happy lives. Your dog will be given all the love and care it requires,my home will become his/her second home.

Sheila really took the time to get to know Beau and this gave me lots of reassurance and I could see that Beau would be settled staying. Sheila provided lovely updates with photos and Beau had a wonderful few days.
Sheila is lovely,Hula went away with her quite happy for her walk which she doesn’t normally do with strangers.
I was really anxious about leaving Milo and heading away for a couple of weeks, but my fears were unfounded. Milo took to Sheila immediately and they had a wonderful time together. He had lots of long walks, plenty of cuddles and good company. They formed a great bond. Sheila stayed at our home, so Milo had familiar surroundings and it worked out really well. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sheila to anyone looking for a dog sitter. She’s amazing and we would definitely be using her again. Thanks Sheila! We think you’re ace! Xx

I have an enclosed garden. Your dog will be walked regularly away from main roads. I live beside woods and close to the canal,both ideal for on or off lead depending on the owner’s instructions

A typical day
The day would be tailored to meet your dog’s needs and exercise levels. The woods nearby have a maze of paths therefore walks can be as long or as short as is required. Similarly with the canal towpath the length of walk can be modified to suit. It also permits swimming ball/stick throwing or running alongside the bike if appropriate
