Pet care experience
I am an active 60 yr old and have been involved with animal rescue for over 20+ years. I have fostered, cared for, transported, adopted out, trained, and given medications for dogs and cats. I have also completed volunteer work at a wildlife hospital caring for birds and mammals. I am comfortable with and have experience with most pets including Ferrets, Birds, Dogs, (all sizes) Cats + more. I have experience giving medications as well. I have cared for wounded animals and have experience with bottle feeding puppies and kittens and senior care, and caring for dogs with seizures, sick animals and will be adding animal CPR in future.

My pets are fed,cleaned and cared for before myself. I am experienced with and love animals so I am aware of behaviors, sicknesses, etc.. They may show. I am not afraid of animals, nor am I afraid to get dirty, lol. Animals have been a part of my life all my life they are my passion and helping care for them is my work and my satisfaction. Their care is extremely important to me and I do not cut corners. My own pets (3 dogs, 2 Cats, 2 mice, a bird and a 33 yr old Turtle) are fully vetted, clean, fed quality food and live in my home. My cats are indoor only. We book vacations and our dogs go along while family cares for my other pets. I will care for your pet per your instructions and with my own dose of affection. I am not careless with doors or gates and am fully aware of instances where pets can escape! I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs. I can be trusted to give any affection and more to them the way I would to my own as any animal I care for is an animal I love.

A typical day
I base needs on each individual dog, and on what a client tells me works for their own pet. All pets will get the amount of affection or play that they are familiar with and anything special as well.

Availability
I can do days/hours or overnights in your home with enough notice. (1week notice for any overnight) but can do occasional short notice calls as well varying by case. Also transport/pick up for vet done with 48hrs notice.
