Pet care experience
Dogs are more than just dogs; they’re family. Worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and histories: some happy, some horrid. I am a APDT(Association of Professional Dog Trainers) certified, primarily employing obedience and behavioral training with calming strategies all founded on positive reinforcement. I have studied dog behavior and canine body language to better understand their social cues and what they are trying to say. I have learned a great deal, mostly from the dogs. They truly are remarkable teachers. The greatest lesson I have learned is if you wish to have positive relationships, and live in the moment – think and talk “dog”.
