Pet care experience
Dogs were always a part of my life growing up and into adulthood. Two years ago, I was able to give this same experience to my 13 year old son when we adopted our rescue pup, Bandit. Now our family is complete and we are happy to help other dog lovers feel comfortable when needing to leave their furry friend to go out of town. We will treat your pup like our own! Our home is perfect for your dog and has access in and out of the house into a fenced backyard. We live on a cul de sac in a quiet neighoborhood in Point Loma. I am in and out during the weekdays with a flexible schedule. As a physical therapist, child parent and pet parent for over 30 years, I am intuitive with any potential medical symptoms that might arise and comfortable providing any medical treatments that might be necessary while you are away (IV fluids, injections, medication). We know what it feels like to miss your pup and will keep you updated by sending photos of your furry friend on his/her vacation having a blast with his/her newest pal, Bandit.

My dog Mufasa died after being poisoned by highly toxic plants that Sheila cultivated in her garden. He became sick but Sheila failed to recognize the seriousness of bright yellow unabated diarrhea, nor did she have a clue about how to treat diarrhea had it been even of a more ordinary sort (she had never heard of treating with white rice and boiled chicken). It is astonishing that Rover allows her to continue to falsely claim in her Rover profile "I am intuitive with any potential medical symptoms that might arise and comfortable providing any medical treatments that might be necessary while you are away" after our experience a year ago, which Rover knows all about. Please do not let a stranger with absolutely unverified "credentials" take custody of your pet.

As always Sheila was terrific: immediate response, dependable and kind to my corgi. Couldn't do without her and trust her completely.
This was the third time I've entrusted my high energy corgi to Sheila who communicated promptly and did a great job of caring for Matti. I have complete faith in Sheila's kindness and sense of responsibility. When I'm out of town I don't worry at all because Matti's in such good hands.
