Sheena is one of those humans who will point out any dog within sight. Usually, she will say that this newly spotted dog is the cutest dog she has ever seen. This is because she is, at her core, a dog lover. In particular, Sheena has a special place in her heart for large-breed dogs. Not one to exclude dogs of other sizes, Sheena has dog-sat for my 45-lb. beagle, Floyd, on multiple occasions. I trust her skills and instincts implicitly. I have no doubt that she will keep future pets safe as she has kept my dog safe over the past 7 years. That being said, I also believe that if something were to happen, Sheena would know how to handle the situation given her vast experience with not only adult dogs but also puppies and senior dogs. As a last recommendation, Sheena's own dog should serve as a testament to her skill as a dog owner. From the beginning, Sheena prioritized socialization with small dogs given the vets prediction that her new puppy would one day grow to be over 60lbs. As such, her dog enjoys the company of other dogs in all sizes. This speaks volumes about Sheena's commitment to raising a dog who is both well-behaved at home and well-behaved with other dogs in public settings.
