Pet care experience
I will play, cuddle, and take care of your dog in their own home where they feel comfortable and safe! I know I can never replace you, but my goal is make your dog feel loved without disrupting their normal routine while you are gone. I have been house/pet sitting for about 3 years, with experience ranging from households with 3 dogs (2 of which were elderly), one dog, and both a cat and dog. I am relatively new to Boston and love long walks, so I would love to walk the city with your dog and explore new places together. I absolutely love love love dogs, and will treat yours like my own. I am a post-doctoral fellow in neuropsychology and work full time at MGH during the day. I am available mainly on weekends, but have been able to do weekdays in the past if a midday walk is not necessary (doggy door to enclosed outdoor space). I am clean and respectful of your space, if you choose to let me in!

Sheena was great! My dogs immediately loved her. And they didn’t seem to want her to leave at the end of the weekend. Despite their antics on walks and the medical needs of one, Sheena was comfortable and took great care of my dogs. Trust her with my babies and house anytime!
Sheena used to dog and house sit for us when she lived in San Diego. I can say without hesitation that she is the best house sitter we have ever had. We have a very needy, high energy, stubborn German Shorthair Pointer, and Sheena always took excellent care of her, exercised and played extensively with her, and slept in the same room with our dog (who is a noisy sleeper!) to ease our 4-legged child's anxiety and keep her happy. We miss Sheena so much! In addition to the excellent care she took of our dog, she was also a fabulous housesitter who always left our house cleaner than she found it. My family and I trust her explicitly and wish she would move back to California, as we have been unable to find another dog caregiver that lives up to her or that our dog loves as much. To you Boston dog moms and dads, you are lucky to have her!
You would never know my dog is actually mine when Sheena is around. He has a special bond with her and you know what they say, dogs are an amazing judge of character. Sheena has happily watched my dog on several occasions and goes above and beyond when doing so. I trust almost no one with my dog (seriously) but Sheena is one of the select few I am never nervous to leave him with. She is not above getting on the ground to play and love on my dog. I have seen her interact with other dogs as well and can honestly say she builds a bond with every one of them. My dog is my life- I dont have children yet- so what I am saying is I trust her with my life. You wont regret letting her be a part of your dogs life!

I have mild cat allergies, so if you have a cat I would appreciate a warning so I can bring my allergy pills! I usually have less tolerance to cats with longer hair.
