Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was 8 years old and have been my parents and families dog sitters for the past 8 years. I have experience with watching multiple dogs at once and with all sizes of dogs! I have watched pit bulls, labs, goldens and more! I love to learn what makes each dog unique and how to fill their day with happiness.

Shea is such an animal lover!! She is nurturing, caring and responsible. When Shea is home/dog sitting for me I feel a huge sense of relief when I’m gone, I just know they are getting the best care!
Shea is the best dog sitter ever! She dog sat my two labs, one of which is only 9 months old and is FULL of energy, for 1 week and would keep me updated with pictures of them. She treated my dogs as if they were her very own and they were given lots of love and attention. We love Shea and would use her for our fur babies over and over again!

Although I am unable to have pets in my own apartment currently, I ensure to always keep a close eye on every dog as it is my responsibility and will take it very seriously. I have had extensive experience with not the best dogs on leashes including reactive dogs. I am able to handle situations calmly to ensure every dog and persons involved safety. I have been walk large dogs ever since I was a young girl and am able to handle them.
Information Shea W. would like to know about your pet
I like to know the “do’s and don’ts” including certain behaviors that may throw the dog of or make them uneasy. Each dog is unique and I love to learn about that. If they poop more than once on walks usually or if they tend to eat things on the road it is nice to know so I can avoid surprises on walks.
A typical day
I love to learn each dogs favorite things! If it’s a park or swimming I am happy to make them happy! I also am always okay playing fetch or just cuddling and hanging out if that’s what they love to do. I am new to the area so would be open to special places(other than starbucks for a pup cup) that you enjoy taking your dog!

Availability
I am currently a graduate student and LIU post studying genetic counseling. I only have classes 2 days and week and am flexible to what works for you. I love walking everyday anyways. Being away from my family dog at home is tough so this is the perfect opportunity for me to socialize with dogs and earn money to help me pay for rent while in school.
