I've taken care of dogs ever since I was a little kid. My family and friends always contact me if they need me to take their dogs for walks or watch them for extended periods of time when they take a vacation. I have experience walking all sizes and types of dogs (sometimes even 3 at once), feeding/giving medications and pills, and bathing animals. In my opinion, any kind of 'work' associated with animals is the best kind of 'work.'

I have used Shea for both overnight dog sitting as well as daily dog walking/play sessions of frisbee. She is extremely reliable and spends quality time with our pup. She genuinely loves dogs and cares about ours as if he was her own.

I always arrive promptly at my clients' house, and first, let their animals become comfortable with me (the more sniffing the better). While walking your dog, I will ALWAYS give your dog time to smell the roses (yes, this is a pun, but I also mean this literally). There are many studies that show that letting your dog sniff on walks provides more mental stimulation, decreases their heart rate and stress levels, and improves their overall happiness levels. Before giving your pets one final good-bye pet, I always make sure they have fresh water and food (if instructed to feed them).
