I am a compassionate life long animal lover. I’ve worked in animal hospitals with large boarding facilities, as the lead kennel technician, as well as being a veterinary assistant. I spent my days playing with and caring for other people's animals. I am able to give medications and tend to special needs animals. Though I left my hospital job when I moved here at the beginning of the pandemic, I've chosen to continue to work with animals because it is something that comes naturally to me & I feel that it's important to love what you do. I look forward to meeting new furry friends!

We have used Shayna countless times now to stay overnight for many days in a row to watch our high-spirited Jack Russell terrier. She is absolutely wonderful and I really cannot recommend her high enough!!! It's so fabulous to be able to leave our dog for more than a week or even longer with absolutely no worries. Hands down she is the best dog sitter we've ever used!!!

This is already the third time this summer that Shayna has stayed with our high-spirited Jack Russell terrier. It’s such a relief to be able to get away knowing that our dog and our house are in excellent hands! I cannot give a high enough recommendation for Shayna. She is absolutely amazing!!
Shayna has stayed overnight with our very high-spirited Jack Russell terrier numerous times. Our last trip was for seven days. Upon our return from each vacation our dog, while happy to see us, has not been anxious. This is a huge reflection on Shayna, who truly makes a great effort to make our dog comfortable and happy. In addition, the house is always spotless!!! I give Shayna my absolute highest recommendation!

A typical day
I adore playing with both dogs and cats and seeing their unique personalities come out. I am also a big fan of snakes and reptiles and exotic animals in general. I will always listen to my clients’ suggestions on usual walking locations/their pet’s comfortably before going out anywhere with them.
