ABOUT ME, SHAYNA My first word was "doggy," so naturally I have grown up to be a huge dog enthusiast! I am a reputable breeder of Doberman Pinschers so my experience ranges from puppy raising, potty training, grooming, basic obedience training, behavior training, temperament evaluation, handling for clients at shows, competing in dog sports like obedience and agility, health and genetics, etc. I am a member of my dog breed club and uphold their standard, ethics, and guidelines. My dogs have gone on to earn various titles, championships, life saving service dogs, and most of all beloved family members. HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM, AVAILABILITY: I work from home as a photographer so I am available flexibly throughout the day. My husband Danny is also an animal lover and equally pet savvy so he helps me with my rover appts from time to time, we are a team! He always comes to the MEET AND GREET appointment so that pets and their parents can meet and feel comfortable with us both, and show us both the rules and routines. Danny is in dental school so he is available early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Between the two of us we can accommodate most schedules! PHOTOS We know how much it means to get daily pic of your best friend while you're away, so we will text you photos! These are casual cell phone pictures. As a professional pet photographer I am also available to schedule professional pet photography service and can provide more info upon request. EXPECTATIONS WITH EACH VISIT We feel strongly that our pets are family members! If your pet is in our care you can expect: -photos (professional photo sessions available by request) -detailed report of their wellbeing and interaction for the day -on time for our visits/stays, please allow for slight flexibility up to 15-30min in case our previous pet client delayed us with unexpected needs or other unforeseen circumstances (cleaning messes, emergency vet trip, traffic, etc) this is a rarity and will notify you of any delays over 15min -prompt communication if any needs arise -fresh water at all times, food as scheduled and requested -can administer medicine on schedule -can take them to vet appointments if needed -pets can be outside or inside for as long as they wish/or is specified -grooming available including nail trims at additional rate -we do not bring or allow other additional people into your home or to interact with your pets unless permission is granted MEET & GREET We insist that all new clients receive a complimentary MEET & GREET appointment so we can become acquainted and see their rules and routines, make sure everybody is comfortable. This is the time for you and your pets to meet us, go over the schedule and routine, show us where they stay during day/night as needed, if/when they are crated or not, where/how/when to feed and water, where the toys and treats are if you want them to have that with us, any pet rules or other information, and of course ask questions! Generally only one meet & greet is needed, however we are happy to accommodate additional meet and greets with a scheduled $20/30min DROP IN VISIT request through Rover. OVERNIGHT SITTING Our overnight sitting includes arrival at 6/7pm and staying through til 6/7am. One or both of us will be there and we're generally there that whole time except occasionally might need a quick (90min or less) step out to grab dinner or go to the gym early AM. It also includes one check in visit during the day to let out/visit. We can water plants, bring in mail, be present for landscaping/bug spray/house cleaner appointments etc during the stay. We send a photo each day for overnight service and report of how your pets are doing. If your pets need more time with us than the overnight and one daily check in we ask that you disclose that upfront before meet and greet, and request the appropriate number of additional visits throughout the day via Rover's DROP IN VISIT $20/30 min request. This way we can be sure we can accommodate your pets needs and your expectations. DROP IN VISIT Drop in visits are 30min sessions in which we can let your pet outside, give interaction/attention as much as they want, play fetch or with toys, walk, feed/water, hang out on the couch - whatever they need! We send a photo and update with each drop in visit so you can see their happy faces, rest assured they're doing well, and received their visit as scheduled. WALKS We are available to take your pup on a walk! Rover scheduled walks are in 30min increments and we can accommodate as long (or short) of walk as your pup likes/you request. The 30min (or more if it is scheduled) includes time to arrive and attach leash, the walk, return home and provide water. These are important to consider for walking service since safety is paramount: -properly fitted collar/harness and leash -we avoid contact with other animals on our walk but if your pup(s) is particularly not friendly on their walk time let us know so we can take extra measures to avoid other animals/triggers as needed -it can get really hot in Phoenix so we will NOT walk dogs when it is unsafe for them or if they are overheating (hot pavement please provide booties or an on grass route), this is especially important for brachy dogs, we can provide alternative exercise/stimulation in place of a hot walk like indoor fetch/swimming fetch, treadmill time, or tricks if your home will accommodate for such and your pup is willing. IN HOME BOARDING We currently do not accommodate in (my) home boarding service. We will not be bringing any client's pet(s) to our home. All pet sitting services will occur in the comforts of your home where your pet(s) are comfortable. MULTIPLE PETS As a multi pet household ourselves we understand that service costs can really add up when billed for each individual animal, and want to make reasonable accommodations when possible for affordable service to multi pet households. For OVERNIGHT SITTING requests each additional pet is at a discounted rate. For DROP IN VISITS your Rover request will automate individual $20/30min charge per pet, in situations where it makes sense we are happy to combine all pets for the one standard $20/30min drop in visit rate. Thank you for respecting our time and effort! KEY PICK UP/DROP OFF Most of our clients give us a key or access codes at the MEET & GREET appointment. If you prefer to give them at a later date we ask that you either leave them hidden for us with instruction to find at the beginning of our service, OR schedule a DROP IN VISIT $20/30min to meet you in person and get the keys/codes. We always make sure doors and gates are locked as we found them when coming/going, and can set alarm as instructed. For key drop off we have the same options: leave them hidden for you with instruction to find when you return, OR schedule a DROP IN VISIT $20/30min to meet you in person and return the keys/codes. Security is taken very seriously. CAMERAS/MONITORING SERVICE Our motto is to always provide care as if our clients were right with us and watching, and to care for our clients in the same way we do for our own beloved pets. So if you have cameras or other monitoring service we are totally okay with that. We appreciate a heads up if you have these. WIFI It is not required but appreciated if you have wifi to provide the login and password.
