Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Shayna. I love dogs and have a lot of experience caring for dogs as I've had many dogs my whole life. Caring for dogs is not something I consider a hobby, but something that I plan on transitioning to doing full time. It is something I have a passion for which I believe sets me apart from other sitters on Rover. My husband and I have two small fur babies. I will treat your babies just as I treat mine because they are family! I'm able to provide potty breaks or walks, feeding, fresh water, play time, and medication administration. If you have a routine, I will ask that you write down instructions for me. I am cat & dog first aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross Association. I also do sittings privately outside of Rover. You can follow along on my IG @azdogsitter I would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies! I currently work Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm in the office. I am able to do overnights any day of the week as well as drop in visits. During overnight stays in your home I will feed your dog, take them for a potty break, give fresh water, play time, give them medication if needed, and LOTS of love! I will send daily pictures with updates so you can be at ease when your pet is in my care. If you need me to do anything additional or have special requests, please make sure you let me know in your care instructions.

Shayna did an amazing job taking care of our dog! I was at peace the entire time and she sent photos and updates. I knew my pup was well taken care of and loved! She also cleaned our place before we got home and made sure we made it back safe. We will definitely be using her services again and trust her in our home with our dog! We recently got back from a 5 day trip where Shayna had to stay in our home and watch our two bulldogs. She was reliable, sent photos, and kept in touch with any concerns and questions. She treated our dogs like her own which eases our minds when we are away. It’s hard to trust someone in your home that isn’t close family/friend. Glad we took a chance with her, she gave me good vibes when I met her. We Would recommend Shayna any day and will continue to contact her until she stops doing it!
Shayna was so wonderful to my dog! He was instantly comfortable in her space. She sent updates often and was very communicative and I definitely recommend her for dog sitting!!
Shayna just watched our dog and we couldn’t be happier with her. We are dog sitters ourselves and Shayna really impressed us. Our rescue dog has some issues from his previous life, and Shayna was willing to come do drop-in visits for our boy so he could get used to her. It showed us that she really cared about him which was very comforting. Shayna sent both picture and video updates everyday we were gone! We came home to a happy dog & our house just as we left it, which was also great. I highly recommend Shayna as your pet sitter! She will definitely be our first choice moving forward.
