Pet care experience
I’ve always had a dog. Currently I have two Australian shepherds. I walk, feed and run them through an obstacle course in the backyard. In my old apartment we had two Rottweilers that I could crate, feed and take outside. I have experience with my friends german shepherds, golden retrievers, & mixed pit bulls as well. Along with smaller dogs such as Chihuahuas and shitzus.

Shay has a connection with animals like no other. She has spent a lot time with pets in her household and has a strong bond with each one of them. This strong connection to animals especially dogs is easily seen with how easy she can read their body languages and understanding their sounds. Shay is an excellent caretaker of our favorite furry friends and any pup will be having a tail-wagging time with her around.

I have a fenced in yard and a mixed doggy (around 40 pounds) named Zion who loves to play, hike and adventure. In the mornings I fill his food and water bowls. Everyday before and after work we go on walks or he goes on solo adventures through our neighborhood. (He’s the neighborhood dog.) I also bring him to work as my job is dog friendly. I take him along with two other girl dogs Sienna and Luna for hour long walks in the golf course near my job. In my families house we have two Australian shepherds that are a bit more high maintenance. They eat Farmers Dog food, morning and night. This food needs to be defrosted and prepared for them at 6AM and 6PM daily. They also have a fenced in yard we let them out in every 2 hours. Twice a week they go on long walks at our local park.

Please notify me in advanced if your dog has any special needs or medications. Also, if you have preferences in treats they can or cannot have. I request you let me know if there is anything that sets your dog off. This can be something as simple as cars driving by, children's presence, or other people approaching them. Any and all details are extremely helpful to myself and your dog’s relationship!
A typical day
There are two parks less than 10 minutes away from my house. One is along the Truckee river and the other is a dog park. Both are optimal for playful friendly dogs. I’m also building a mini course for my dog Zion in our backyard. (We just moved in so this is a work in progress.)

Currently my job is seasonal and is ending in April. Until then I am available everyday at 4PM and completely free on Mondays and Tuesdays!
