I think four-legged friends are the best kind you can have. I have extensive experience with senior dog care and am adept with puppies. My 40 pound German Shepherd mix loves having friends over for playtime with all dogs, from teacup to giant breeds. My senior dog, a 16 year old Chesapeake mix required a special diet, medication, and gentle exercise in his twilight years, so if your pup has special needs, he or she will be in good hands. We also love to share outdoor experiences and vigorous exercise with pups who are up for it, but adjust all plans as appropriate for our four-legged friends.

Shayna is the best!!! Her and Chris are so nice, their home is beautiful and dog-friendly, and Mischa is as cute as can be. Our 9 month old puppy, Amigo, stayed with them for nearly a week and had the absolute best time. He played with Mischa all day. Shayna is so sweet and sends tons of pictures and updates. Best boarding experience ever :)

I have one furry companion who I'm happy to bring a long to give your pup an engaging play date, but she can also stay home too. Rest assured that my pup has no food, dog, or toy aggression issues; your furry companion will be safe, healthy, and happy in my care. I'm comfortable with preparing food for special diets and with performing any routine grooming or maintenance tasks that ensure the comfort of your pup. Walks are always on-leash and with owner-provided harnesses or collars and leashes. I can accommodate most special requests. Please just ask!

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any special needs. I'm happy to work with dogs that are differently-abled, have special diets, need consistency for behavior modification, or anything else under the sun. I just want to be able to properly plan and prepare for any issues that may arise.
A typical day
I like to make sure I tailor my time to each pup to make sure they are getting the experience they want and need. My dog loves to be actives, fun with frisbees, Kong balls, and the occasional stick (her favorite) are all in the cards. We practice commands for rewards frequently -- from tricks to positive behaviors, I make sure good work is rewarded.

Availability
My pup hates that I no longer telework full-time, but loves that my fiance still does! She gets to go outside every hour or two, play is plentiful, and structured walks are part of our routine. Mischa always gives friendly reminders (in the form of nuzzles and pointed looks) to get up, walk around, and go outside. Longer walks are always early in the morning, around 4, and before bedtime. Mischa is off-leash trained and loves to get out her zoomies on longer outings and weekend trips. If you'd like your pup to have extra adventure, just let me know!
