Pet care experience
I have the most experience with three little rambunctious dogs that are a handful of fun and energy, and I would do anything to keep them happy! I've had quite a few jobs pet sitting that have ranged from just a couple of days to weeks at a time. I can be stern when needed, but I will also give them relentless positive attention. I refuse to let a pup be sad, and I have plenty of energy to spend on getting all of their energy out efficiently. I just love spending quality time with dogs, I have experience with other types of animals as well, so if there are more pets than just cats or dogs in the home, I would be able to provide services for them as well! Now I will travel past 10 miles but I would like to ask for compensation for gas!

She’s great! She took the time to come over previous to the booking to meet my dog at no charge! She texted me updates and while I couldn’t respond, it was much appreciated. A week prior to our booking, I threw a big monkey wrench at her and added a dog that was not used to my pack or my packs mentality. She agreed with no hesitation and no additional charges! The 3rd dog ended up not coming but her willingness to tackle the challenge was impressive. Pack assimilation is not easy especially when the dogs don’t know you. I would rebook her in a heartbeat!!
We were in need of a over-night pet sitter for our 2 cats and 2 dogs. Our cats are pretty self -sufficient but our dogs are spoiled and need a lot of attention and love. Shayla came over to meet us and the pets and see what the job entailed. Our semi-anxious dog immediately liked her and was letting her pet him and he even sat in her lap! We took that as a great sign. Shayla stayed with our pets and did a fabulous job. She is very responsible and took great care of our pets! Shayla kept in touch with us while we were gone to let us know how the pets were doing and send us pictures of the pets. She was very kind and loving to them. This was our first time leaving them with a pet sitter so we weren't sure how mainly the dogs would react but happily all went well! She took great care of our house as well and attended to all the chores of pet sitting flawlessly. Shayla is coming back to stay with our pets for a longer period of time in October. Our family would definitely recommend Shayla as a reliable, trustworthy, responsible and loving pet sitter.

Shayla is great! She started watching our kids (who also love her) so it was a natural transition to have her watch our dog and house when we go away. She is very responsible and loves animals. Our dog is so excited every time she comes over! She follows our instructions, and makes sure all his needs are met, which include a lot of play time and attention.

A typical day
I would love to take the dogs out on trails and take nice long walks to get them tuckered out for the rest of the day. If the dogs have any special toys that they like best, I would certainly take them out to a park, no dog parks if preferred, and play with them until their heart is content! If your dog loves chilling out instead of running wild then I can provide gentle attention as well.
