Dogs are like children. Feed them, love them, bathe them, and keep them busy. As a mother of 2 I know this too well. I've owned dogs and watched them all my life. It's second nature at this point.

I have a small fur baby myself. Chihuahua named Romeo. He is great with other dogs. Totally laid back. 2 small children. A 9 month old and 5 year old that is fantastic with dogs. My yard is fenced, not very big but not super small. There is a dog park less than a mile away. We take our dog on a walk twice sometimes 3 times a day and play in the yard throughout the day.
