Bonjour à tous! (English below) Je m'appelle Shayla et j'adore passer du temps avec les animaux. Ma famille adore les animaux, alors en grandissant, nous avons toujours eu des chiens, des chats et même des chevaux. Je suis américain donc je parle anglais et un peu français. J'habite actuellement dans le 7ème arrondissement. Depuis que j'ai déménagé à Paris, je n'ai pas encore pu avoir de chien ou de chat, mais passer du temps avec les animaux me manque. Grâce à la garde d'animaux, j'ai pu m'occuper de chiens et de chats locaux et m'assurer qu'ils sont bien pris en charge pendant l'absence de leurs propriétaires. Tout au long du lycée et de l'université, j'ai également aidé des amis et des membres de la famille qui avaient besoin d'un gardien d'animaux, j'ai donc rencontré une variété de races. Hello everyone! My name is Shayla and I love spending time with pets. My family loves animals so growing up we always had dogs, cats and even horses. I’m American so I speak English and a little french. I'm currently living in the 7th arrondissement. Since moving to Paris I haven’t been able to get a dog or cat of my own yet but I’ve missed spending time with animals. Through pet sitting I’ve been able to look after local dogs and cats and make sure they are well taken care of while their owners are away. Throughout high school and university I also helped friends and family members who needed a pet sitter so I’ve come across a variety of breeds.

Shayla was and is wonderful! It is never easy leaving our dog (Harper) with someone else and Shayla made the whole process so much easier. She met my partner and I + Harper a few weeks beforehand, and stayed in regular contact with us throughout Harper's stay with her, sending photos and messages throughout the day. 100% recommend.

A typical day
A typical day involves taking your pet on however many walks they need. Depending on what their feeding schedule is they’ll have breakfast after their morning walk. I love walking through champ de Mars because there’s a lot of open space and more greenery for your pet to explore. I have some tennis balls at home that your pet can play with and if they have any other toys they like I’m more than happy to play with them! I usually work in the afternoons so right before I leave I’ll make sure to take your pet out before I go and then of course when I return home they’ll have dinner and we’ll go for more walks in the evening.

Availability
Pour le moment, je ne travaille qu'à temps partiel l'après-midi pendant environ 3 à 5 heures, j'ai donc un horaire assez ouvert pour emmener votre animal de compagnie en promenade et jouer avec lui. Depuis que j'habite dans le 7ème je suis très proche du Champ de Mars et des Invalides ainsi que de la Seine. Votre animal de compagnie aura de nombreux endroits où nous pourrons aller marcher et explorer ensemble. Mon immeuble dispose également d'un ascenseur pour que votre animal de compagnie n'ait pas à se soucier de monter les escaliers. At the moment I’m only working part time in the afternoons for about 3-5 hours so I have a pretty open schedule to take your pet on walks and play with them. Since I live in the 7th I’m very close to Champ de Mars and Les Invalides as well as the Seine. Your pet will have plenty of places we can go and walk and explore together. My apartment building also has an elevator so your pet won’t have to worry about taking the stairs.
