Hi there, My name is Shayla M. I am a student at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. I have grown up around dogs for 21 years, I honestly don't remember the last time I didn't have three dogs in my family home. My friends and family refer to me as the dog whisperer, just because it seems like all dogs just have the tendency to like me and are comfortable around me. I will treat you dog like its my own because I know how much love goes into making them apart of your family. I have experience with small and big dogs, so I am comfortable with any four legged friend you may have. Thank you for inviting me into your home!

Shayla did a great job! We came back to happy relaxed dogs. She managed medications and took care of two high-anxiety dogs with no issues.
Shayla grew up in a dog loving household! She has graciously watched over our two dogs who adore her sweet, kind, loving, caring disposition! Our Yorkie Jazzy has kidney disease and would only chose to eat from Shayla because she was so patient and gentle with her. Shayla is extremely responsible, has great communication and will keep your pet safe. Your dog would be lucky to have Shayla as their friend! You will LOVE her!
Shayla as a person is very reliable, trustworthy and a hard-worker. Her energy and smile are contagious. She has always grown up with pets and would love to have her own but, for now wants to share her love for animals with families that need help with their own. I have always said that if I came back as a pet or an animal, I would want to live with the Metz family as the pets are treated like royalty. Shayla would be my first choice if I myself needed someone to take care of my pets or walk them. Please consider her for your next pet needs!
Simply said, Shayla is a special person with pets. She is kind and patient and treats them all like family. Everytime she sees our dog they both light up. Shayla will go the extra mile with any request for your pet. She is very responsible and has excellent customer service. I’ve know Shayla since she was an infant. She was raised in a Home with many pets, always having several dogs, and is a natural with them.
