Pet care experience
I have always loved animals and my love for them began with my Uncles pit-bull puppy when I was eight years old. I realized then that unconditional love can be found in the eyes of every fur-baby. I worked in the Animal welfare field for over five years as a Vet assistant, dog walker and client care specialist at a local animal shelter. My personal and professional experience has taught me that in New York City people need and love their pets but can't always accommodate them with the lack of space and free time. I want to offer pet parents the chance to go about their day carefree knowing their fur-baby is in good hands. Please contact me if you have any more questions or concerns 😊

Shayla is THE BEST. She is really kind, caring, and conscientious and always acts with your pets’ best interest in mind. Shayla sent me lots of photos of my cats, and messaged me with updates in real time while she was visiting with them—it made my partner and me feel so much better about leaving our babies while we went to visit family! One of our cats is 17 years old and has had some health problems in recent years, so having an excellent pet sitter is extra imperative in our case. Shayla is 100% that person!

I live near a large park where I normally walk my own dog 3x a day. If your dog visits with me he will be given brisk on leash walks, In house play time with squeaky toys and chew ropes and relaxing belly rubs.
