Pet care experience
I’m a working graduate student looking to share my love with your pets! I love hammocking, going for runs, spending time at dog parks, and cuddling the day away with my doggo! I’ve been loving on cats and dogs all my life and currently have a 9 year old friendly Jackapoo that’s an adorable white poof named Marshmallow! I have taken care of animals in home, boarding, and dog walking consistently for 12 years. I have a wide availability and happy to offer a variety of services. I also have experience with giving medications, special needs, and older pups. I would love to have the opportunity to walk, check-up on your fur babies, house sit, bathe, and of course lots of playing!

We are so glad we found Shayla! This was our first booking with her, but we know it will be one of many! She kept us up to date on the pups while we were away, and I knew they were in great hands the whole time. She helped keep our older dog on schedule with some mobility exercises, and kept on top of daily medications for both dogs. Shayla also took care of the house and was very flexible as things came up. Plus the doggos loved her!
Shay is kind, professional, and an overall stellar sitter. She asked questions, was on time, and truly showered our girls with so much love and care when we were away. She kept us well informed throughout the entire service and left a sweet note when we returned, which was just so nice. Our two girls loved her and we will certainly use her service again and highly recommend her!

Communicating through the app with lots of pictures and videos is what I prefer! If you have any special requests about your house (collect the mail daily, set the alarm, etc.) I’ll be happy to do so! Making sure your home and pets are safe is my top priority.

I’d like to know the vet’s information and any allergies about your baby! I would also like to know if your pet is friendly with other dogs and if there’s any special care that I can offer. All breeds and ages welcome! If you are looking for me to house sit: I would like to know in detail what care you would like provided and when. It is important to me to keep your babies on schedule and make sure they feel right at home while you're away. I would like to know how often you would like walks and potty breaks. I prefer a meet and greet beforehand just to make sure I have the lay of the land and get to greet your fur babies. Please let me know if you are wanting me to provide a bath before you return home. If the last day of service for dog sitting is past noon, a $15 charge will be added to the total. If you're looking for drop-in visits: Please provide details regarding the drop-in visits. I want to make sure you are happy with my services so please let me know if there is anything specific outside of feeding and playing with your fur babies that you would like for me to provide.
A typical day
I love going on walks and would love to know if your pup has a favorite place to go! If your pup is not fond of going out for walks, I have lots of patience to play ball and get some energy out.
