Pet care experience
Hello! I certified through an 8 week training program through the Wounded Warrior Canine Program.I’ve grown up with large dogs and cats my whole life. I had 4 Boxers and 3 cats throughout my childhood and adult life. I had the joy of helping raise a Labrador puppy through college. I also helped to rescue and rehabilitate multiple dogs, cats, and birds. Animal care is my calling in life. Every “fur”-legged ( ;P ) creature is a friend of mine. Additionally, I gained experience bathing, walking, and caring for 1 Gentle Giant (Great Dane) named Chuck, and his large poodle brother, Ambassador Baxter.
Reviews
Shayla was great!! She called before to make sure she got a thorough walkthrough of how to access my house and things she needed to know about my doggos. When I came home they were very happy and were tired out from playing. So glad I got the right person to do the job ❤️
Shayla was an excellent communicator, even when I was not. She has helped me out on short notice a number of times. The pups and I are most grateful! Highly recommend!
Shayla is one of the most loving and passionate animal lovers, especially when it comes to dogs. She has a true love of all breeds, and an understanding of different temperaments along with the needs of each. When you meet Shayla you’ll understand her passion and complete trustworthiness with any furry friend.

Dog Boarding/Day Care: Your fur child is my greatest priority. There is nothing on earth more pure than the love of a fur child for it’s family. I intend to honor them with the same love I would give any human. Additionally, I know you, as the parent, work hard and want to come home to a child that’s been intellectually engaged, thoroughly exercised, and nurtured so you can enjoy it’s company upon return. My promise is to deliver nothing less.
Information Shayla F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has had any tummy issues that require additional potty time, diet restrictions, or medications. Please let me know if your pet has any triggers, for example "He loves to be pet but he doesn't like his ears touched".
A typical day
I like to take dogs to fenced dog parks to let them run and play. We play catch and chase. I'm willing to gently wrestle around with bigger dogs that like more hands on play time. If there aren't dog parks around, I'll take the dogs on sprint-intervals up hills to get them some time to run. Please let me know if your pet has any health concerns that makes running an unsafe activity. Certain breeds are more prone to heart attacks, even at younger ages.

Availability
I’m available on weekends for multiple dogs. I only take one family of dogs at a time, unless I know the dogs and am confident they play well with others.
