Need more dogs in my life!
Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! Sadly I work full time and am not ready for my own pet just yet so I am utilizing this side job for fun! I have lots of experience caring for my neighbors and friends dogs while they go on vacation, and my last roomate had a big German shepherd labradoodle who love getting to play with new friends! I want to explore Tahoe as much as I can and walking dogs is a perfect way for me to see the mountains, beaches, and parks while getting some exercise here :)

Shaye did a great job with our dog Remi and made him feel cared for. She communicated well with me and will definitely use again.
Share was great and super patient with Ava. Ava is shy at first until she gets to know you so getting her to go for a walk the first day can be tricky. She’s old so she deaths everywhere in her bed sleeping. But with a few treats Shaye was able to get Ava moving and keep her moderately active the entire time. Shaye did a great job of checking on ava even if she was sleeping.
Shaye is an amazing person with such a caring and kind heart, especially for animals! She will make sure you dog is in the best hands possible and will make sure your dog is so happy!!

I will never leave the home with a pet off leash unless specifically instructed to. I will always make sure the door/fence is closed and will not leave them open for any reason.
Information Shaye O. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how the dog handles other animals and people. I have worked with dogs who are not friendly towards other dogs/people before I just need to know ahead of time. I don’t have any breed preference but I do have more experience with labs, German shepherds, husky’s and cattle dogs.
A typical day
Luckily I have a big SUV with dog friendly bars/mats for safe driving to any trailhead in Tahoe! I also am very familiar with ski beach and the fitness trail, and happy to keep the dogs on leash for walks anywhere else in town! I live pretty close to mount rose so I know the trails up there pretty well. I am eager to explore more of Tahoe and I would love to use dog walking as a way to see more of it. There are lots of trails up I enjoy, and I am always looking for an excuse to go out! I currently live w two husky’s who love to play with new friends so I could bring them along to play. I even brought a rover dog camping with me last fall.

Availability
If I have work I prefer to care for pets in the mornings, I like running for an hour before work. Also I like to go out in the evenings, for a shorter run or walk around town. If I have the day off I love an afternoon hike in the sun!
