Hello there! My name is Shayda A. and I am a animal-lover and biologist with years of personal experience having grown up with pets. I am an alumnus from Humboldt State University with a Bachelors of Science in Zoology and minor in Botany. I currently work as a biologist for a local environmental consulting company. I am experienced with dogs ranging from 15-100 pounds (from Pugs to Rotweilers!). I am very active and love to experience the great outdoors with furry friends. At home, my partner and I have an young and friendly cat named Lucifer or Lulu for short:) I am passionate about animals and animal-rights and I will strive to give your furry family member the best care possible.

Shayda handled our large 4-dog pack overnight. We had full confidence in leaving our fur babies and house in her hands. She was very attentive to detail in learning what each dogs’ personality and needs were. We were very pleased when we got home to see that the dogs appeared to have been on vacation - very tired and happy. And as a bonus, we received some pretty cute pictures of our pups while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Shayda again!
Shayda was a fabulous dog sitter! She watched my dog, Misha, for portions of two days and one night. Shayda sent me text messages, photos and video updates of how Misha was doing and what activities they were getting into. She took Misha to the beach, played fetch with her and on plenty of walks. It was evident from the photos and videos that Misha was having a great time with Shayda. I'm grateful for the care that Shayda put into watching my beloved dog, and I plan to hire her again. I highly endorse Shayda to dog sit your beloved pup!
Shayda was amazing!! She sent tons of pics and left very thorough notes. I could tell how caring she was with my dog when she communicated with me. I will for sure use her again! Highly recommend!
Shayda is a warm, caring, and responsible pet sitter. Her love for animals is clearly demonstrated through her attention to detail, ample communication, and above and beyond attention paid to the pets she cares for as if they were her own. I'm picky with my pet sitters and feel completely comfortable leaving Shayda in charge!

My schedule: Monday- Friday I work in the field from 8 to 3:30. I am available to watch your beloved animals anytime before or after those hours in which I am in the field/working.
