Shay is an awesome dog sitter and walker! She is always time and makes sure to keep in contact with you with updates on your pet. My dog has severe separation anxiety and he always seemed happier when I came home! 10/10 would recommend Shay.
Shay was the best and I’m so sorry I didn’t have her for long! My dog has some very special behavioral needs which she readily accommodated. She had a calm energy which is super important for my little nervous boy. She took her time and never rushed him which made me feel good know he was in good hands. She was reliable and did great with my dog which says a lot and she paid attention to detail. So sad she’s leaving and Stewart is too!
Shay has got to be one of the best pet caretakers I know. She concentrates countless hours tending to the needs of each pet, making them the happiest animals around! Shay takes a lot of time out of her day to bring dogs on long walks, around town for new adventures, or just to give them some loving attention at home. She has taken care of and had her own pets at home her entire life, allowing her to become very aware of all dogs’ needs and she has taken upon the responsibilities of a pet caregiver! I would choose Shay to take care of my pets any day!
As Shay’s housemate I have seen her take care of many animals and pets throughout the years. The comfortability of the pets in her care is Shay’s first priority. She loves all animals and I believe that any dog Shay is responsible for is in good and loving hands.

Depending on the behavior tendencies of the specific animal, I am always aware of how close the animal needs to be kept to me and away from other animals or humans. There is no such thing as being too safe around others, especially when caring for other people's pets.

I think that it is important to be aware of a dogs tendency to grab food from humans, aggression levels upon entering their territory or a new place, their speed if an emergency such as an accidental let go of leash occurs, and other special qualities that could jeopardize the safety of me and/or the animal.
A typical day
I love to play fetch with dogs who enjoy it, I am a great opponent in tug of war, and I will gladly accompany an adventure to a safe yet exciting destination such as the ocean or a hike.

Availability
When I have a pet to care for in my presence, the animal guides my daily routine. I feel that I have a very strong awareness for what the animal is in need of and it's mood. This helps me to create a safe and comfortable environment for the animal.
